Are you fearful of catching COVID-19 or the next coming virus?
Are there any steps you can take to reduce your chances of catching any virus?
The CDC shows that 94% of those who have died have other health issues going on, 4.0 additional issues on average.
What are those underlying health conditions that make you more susceptible to being hospitalized?
A summary report from USA Today of the CDC data states:
- The most common were hypertension (49.7%), obesity (48.3%), chronic lung disease (34.6%), diabetes (28.3%), and cardiovascular disease (27.8%). These conditions were even more prevalent in deceased COVID-19 patients, according to data released by Louisiana, New York and New Jersey.
If you are able to reduce any of those health issues you have, you would not only have a less probability of getting sick with the virus, but could enjoy life more abundantly. "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10.
How does one help reduce these health issues?
The closer one comes to eating the diet God gave in Genesis 1, the less probability of having these other health issues.
